The Law Library has had some changes made to their website, and it is now located at http://www.luc.edu/law/library/.

They are still getting the website set up properly, so currently a lot of information is located in the wrong location/ harder to find.

    To access their subject guides:
Click on “Start Research” and select “LibGuides (Research Guides)”

To access the Database A-Z list:
Click on “Start Research” and select “Subscription Databases”

A list of library faculty/ staff can be found at http://www.luc.edu/law/faculty/library.html

Professor Leonard Gingerella has given his marketing class an assignment.  “Students are studying political, economic, social, and technology trends and how these trends can support demand when starting a new business. Also important to the entrepreneur starting a new business is timing.”

1 – the one questions I have had from this class so far was “The trends in MBA Employment rates” and it was answered by the Graduate Management Admission Council’s Annual Survey  http://www.gmac.com/market-intelligence-and-research/research-library/employment-outlook/2012-year-end-employer-poll-summary-report.aspx.

2 – According to the professor here is the assignment: “Students are studying political, economic, social, and technology trends and how these trends can support demand when starting a new business. Also important to the entrepreneur starting a new business is timing.”  One tip I suggest is to search appropriate (business databases or databases related to the subject of the trends) with the subject (in the above case MBA and Employment) with the string “Trends OR forecast OR prediction” in one search box.

We are unavailable to visit this class and go over the resources, so we may be getting many of them individually.
