Pamela L. Caughie, Professor of English at Loyola University Chicago, is a senior modernist scholar and theorist, former president of the Modernist Studies Association, and founding and co-director of Modernist Networks (www.modnets.org), a consortium of digital projects in modernist literature and culture. She is author of two books and over forty book chapters and articles, and editor or co-editor of four works, including Woolf Online, a digital archive of Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse (www.woolfonline.com).
Sabine Meyer is an independent scholar from Berlin. Dr. Meyer received her PhD from Humboldt University in Berlin in the fields of Northern European studies and transgender studies in 2014. Her dissertation on Lili Elbe’s narrative, “Wie Lili zu einem richtigen Mädchen wurde” – Lili Elbe: Zur Konstruktion von Geschlecht und Identität zwischen Medialisierung, Regulierung und Subjektivierung, was published by transcript in 2015. She was a research consultant for the film “The Danish Girl” and has given numerous talks and interviews on the topic of this memoir at various universities and for TV documentaries.
Marianne Ølholm received her Ph.D. at the University of Copenhagen in 1999. She is a published author and translator. Most recently, she has translated chapters in A Cultural History of the Avant-Garde in the Nordic Countries 1950-1975, edited by Tania Ørum. Ølholm will translate the Danish edition into English; this will be the first published translation of Fra Mand til Kvinde.
Nikolaus Wasmoen is Postdoctoral Fellow in English and the Digital Humanities at SUNY, University at Buffalo, where he teaches modernist literature, media studies, and the digital humanities. He received his PhD in English from the University of Rochester in March 2016. He is currently working on his first book project, Editorial Modernism, a study of the relationship between poetics and the work of manuscript, book, and periodical editing in the careers of T. S. Eliot, Marianne Moore, and Ezra Pound. He is also the Project Manager for Modernist Networks (modnets.org) and the Technical Director for the Marianne Moore Digital Archive (moorearchive.org).
