Oxford Encyclopedia of Social Work is now online

June 12th, 2008 by Resources

The Oxford Encyclopedia of Social Work is an excellent reference source on the history of social work, that is now currently available online from the Databases by Title list. The 20th edition of this reference work covers important areas that have come to the fore since the 1995 publication such as demographic changes in immigration, technology, the implications of managed care, faith-based assistance, evidence-based practice, gerontology, and trauma & disaster.
