Cudahy Library door closing, January 2009.

November 5th, 2008 by LOCL

In January, the newly-opened entrance to the Information Commons will serve as the main point of entry for both the IC and Cudahy Library.  Cudahy’s entrance will be closed and used only as an emergency exit.   Having a single entrance not only affords us greater security, but unites the two buildings into a single information complex and allows us to provides better assistance to library users, including guests.  Directing visitors to the IC entrance will also take advantage of the pathways established by the soon-to-be-completed new quad.  Reminders about the Cudahy door closing and the re-opening of the Information Commons doors will be posted around campus as the big day arrives.
