New Online Resource: The Los Angeles Times

May 28th, 2009 by uscholz

The Los Angeles Times from ProQuest Historical Newspapers, a new addition to the Libraries’ collection of online resources, provides access to the paper from 1881 through the present. ProQuest Historical Newspapers gives users easy access to the full content of each paper starting from the very first issue.

Users are able to page through issues or search and view article images in PDF format. With access to front pages, articles, editorials, photos, advertisements, wedding and engagement announcements, cartoons, birth and death announcements, reviews, and more, readers can peek into the daily lives of ordinary people, as well as witness major events.
Access The Los Angeles Times from our Database by Titles list.
