#ExploreTheFloors: Cudahy Second Floor

Don’t get stuck on the first floor of Cudahy Library! If you venture up any of the stairwells or elevators, you’ll find more books, study space, and special collections.

University Archives & Special Collections
The University Archives serves as the institutional memory of Loyola University Chicago. Special Collections includes archival collections relating to Samuel Insull, Congressmen Dan Rostenkowski and Henry J. Hyde, Catholic history, Jesuit educators, and Chicago entertainment. Visit luc.edu/archives for hours and to make an appointment.

Call numbers J-Z
Find books with call numbers J-Z on the second floor. Call number signs are also posted on the shelves to help you locate the materials you need.

Group Study Rooms
Group study rooms at Cudahy Library are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be reserved for a period of 2 hours. To reserve a room, go to the Cudahy Circulation Desk (first floor). At least two Loyola IDs must be presented at the time of checkout.

Men’s Restroom
A men’s restroom is located on the southwest side of the floor. Women’s restrooms can be found on the first and third floors of Cudahy Library.
