There is no community access to the IC or Cudahy from 8/24 – 9/4 (the day after Labor Day). Alumni, Friends of the Library, reciprocal borrowers, and guests who accompany a current Loyola student are all welcome, but other community members will not be allowed in the building. With the start of the semester, there is a lot going on in the IC, which makes it difficult to keep track of community guests.

Hello — The  Group Study Reservation System has down while we upgrade to a new system.  The new system should be up and running after 3:00 this afternoon.  It will look quite different.  Please test it out once it is available.

Lewis Reference reports that the ERIC document PDF system was down. Susan called their 800 number and there was a message that the PDF system is down and they can not predict when it will be back up, but updates will be posted to their website.

ITS is replacing all the desktop MACs in the building.  If students need access to a MAC they should visit the Digital Media Center or checkout a laptop.

We noticed that wet carpet at our reference desk was making our shoes a bit slippery, especially on the metal bars of the chairs.  Please be careful.  Housekeeping cleaned the carpet last night.  Once dry it should be fine.
